light brassy gold w/ white head.
extremely light... flavor lingers long on the finish,a nd actually leaves a decent hint of hoppiness. very crisp and refreshing, despite the fact that i really don’t care for lagers much.

For a pale lager, Stella Artois is average. It will beat out the terrible American macrobrews, but there just isn’t much here to judge.

Upgrade from a miller lite. As crisp, as refreshing, as drinkable but with more taste. Good for tailgating or relaxing when you feel like quenching your thirst with an ice cold beer.

US Bottle pour - Small fizzy white head atop a well-carbonated, sparkling clear golden body. Smells of grain, grass, and some flowers. Starts off slightly bitter and finishes dry in an almost German Pils fashion. Light-Medium body.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Une bière douce, fragile qui commande une ambiance décontracté et benoîte. Elle calme les esprits et réchauffe l’atmosphère par le velouté de son arôme et son gout pointu!

UPDATED: JAN 29, 2008 Bottle. Very approachable Lager. Golden color with fizzy head that quickly dissipates. Pleasantly bitter aftertaste that is not overpowering. Crisp and refreshing.

Not really what I expected. SInce its served in a fancy glass, I was thinking I would get a fancy beer. But not really. It’s good. The aroma and flavor are better than other mass produced lagers, but there’s nothing here that makes me jump for joy. The beer taste itself has a slightly bitter kick to it, but goes down smoothly. I think that maybe since the alcohol content is a little higher than normal, that after a few of these everything feels better. Try it. Why not?
