This beer is overrated and way overpriced, there’s nothing special here. For about the same price you can buy much better beers, like Heineken, Carlsberg, Samuel Adams, Beck’s or for an even lower price, you can buy some American pale lagers, like Schlitz and others like it.

A very satisfying beer. Goes down smooth and has a flavor that I cant quite place in any other beer. I would definately drink it again.

STELLA! STELLLLLLLAAAAAAA!! Ah shit it aint a Street Car Named Desire. Not too bad for a Belgium brew. Has a decent aroma, hoppy, medium carbonation and a sweet bitter finish.

Bottle. Light golden color, fluffy white head, a lot of fizz, watery body. Little to know aroma, slight beer smell. Short beginning with little to no flavoir with a lot of fizz. Middle draw is long ending with a medium bitter after taste. Clean crisp distinct flavors. Refreshing light beer. Excellant summer beer as it is not a light beer but taste like one.

A beloved friend of mine came over from California and I took him to one of my favourite Yorkshire places. He spurned the whisky and the Timothy Taylor’s for a Stella. I was a bit upset that he’d come over here and have something so mass-produced when we’re back into some golden age for brewing real ales in the UK. He took the term "real ale" as a "No True Scotsman" fallacy and thought I was putting down his beloved Stella for some artificially valued "realness," so I had to explain to him that it was a lot like craft beer in the USA, independently-brewed to a method I don’t quite understand which classifies it as a real ale, like how real cider is basically actually made from fruit rather than radon. Unfortunately I couldn’t get through to him, and things were dampened somewhat until we met up with another friend who came up with the perfect analogy for it. It was like your girlfriend telling you she was into philosophy, and you going "Ah! Who do you like then?" and her going "Oh, Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison." Stella Artois is to beer what Kurt Cobain is to philosophy.

Overrated - not too bad, but let down, not too terribly tasty (good or bad).
