Looks good, light golden with smooth head. Not much aroma to speak of. Pretty generic European lager, but perhaps a little more generous with the hops than many of its mainstream competitors making it preferable to most of them. Refreshing enough but pretty standard fare.

On tap at Riley’s, Nottingham. Pours golden, with a single finger white head, highly carbonated. Aroma of lemon, light malts. Taste of initial light malts, then lemon, some grassiness too. Not bad, one of the more flavoursome macro lagers. Ok.

Bottle 0,5l, brewed in Czech republic. Clear golden body, white head. Bland aroma of malts and some like synthetic lemon. Taste is slightly sweet, very slightly bitter, sour on the end. Malty base, metallic tones and again this strange lemon. Light body, higher carbonation, high drinkability.
Well, pleasant surprise, I expected much much worse.

Rotin (211) - Neratovice, CZECH REPUBLIC - JUL 22, 2015
Bottle 0,5l. Clear, pale gold colored beer. Aroma of malt and instant lemon tea, the same in flavor. Semi-dry, touch of metallic taste, light body.
Not so bad as I expected, just as bad as average Czech lager.

Regular lager. Easy to drink, good on a hot summer day. Nice color, a bit daft.

Lager pâle classique, rien d’intéressant autre que le fait d’être désaltérante, sans notes vraiment désagréables. Bue ci et là à la pression.

24/VI/15 - 33cl can @ Filip’s place - BB: 10/VI/15 (2015-813) Thanks to Filip for the beer!

Clear pale yellow beer, creamy irregular white head, unstable, falls down immediately, non adhesive. Aroma: malty, sweet, hay, bit grassy. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: pretty sweet, little malty, sugary, nothing bitter. Aftertaste: sweet, sugar water, some grains. Man, it’s worse than I could remember!

The beer has a nice color. The appearance is typical Pilsner. The smell is sweet but not special. The taste is airtime bitter and has a alcohol sweetness. The beer is not that special. It is just an ordinary Pilsner, nice to drink in large quantities.
