2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Stella and I have a dysfunctional relationship. She is a skunky bitch, but I do like her.
Sitting out in the cold, by a fire may not be the perfect place to savor this temperamental brew, but it worked for me.

Best by July, 2012
Pours a light golden ale with a finger of fleeting loose white foam and brilliant clarity. Spotty lace. Smells of some skunk, white grapes, grain and a hint of hay. Taste is smooth with sweet grains and little else. Really quite drinkable, particularly from a green bottle. Light body with moderately hi carb. Not a bad beer for green bottle and potentially long light exposure, the moderate skunk sucks, but overall this beer isn’t too shabby, and I particularly like it on tap during warmer months.

Stella. I have drank so much of this in my time, and as far as run of the mill lagers go it’s ok! Nothing exciting, very pale in colour and sometimes it can taste pretty metallic (even when not from a can). It does however have some bitter malty taste to it and is far better than lots of the crap you can get for the same money. Nothing special but for the price it is certainly drinkable and on a hot summer’s day having one fresh from the fridge is an enjoyable drink!

Given the chance of bottle or tap...Tap a must. One of the better lagers, has the skunky, hay-like smell. Cold and in a Stella glass on the tap...great beer.

Acceptable at best, cold is a must. A little watery, with a slight fruity aroma, couldn’t drink it all day.

0,5l blik met gays gloryhunter en bryanvdv. Helder licht geel pils met wit schuim. Geur met een beetje mout en een vleugje hop. Smaak zoetig met een klein zuurtje.

2.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from the supermarket. Pours a nice darker, golden yellow with a good sized head. Taste is classic lager, skunky and hay-like, nothing special. Yet it still stands out amonst other lagers. I’m torn on this one. While it isn’t anything special it is pretty good for the style. Easily beats out most common lagers for me.
