Stella Artois is one of the world’s best-selling beers and is enjoyed in more than 80 countries. Its full, characteristic flavour and high quality is assured through a superior brewing process and by using the finest ingredients available.
The UK version is brewed, filtered and kegged at Samlesbury. Batches are sent to Magor for pasteurising before being canned or bottled.

People made such a big deal about resturaunts and bar’s here getting Stella. I finally couldn’t avoid it any longer when my selection recently was bud or bud light, miller, or stella. SO I finally caved in. Somewhat skunky nose, followed by some astringent type corn and malt. Never really opens up. Taste is the same, some floral hints to pick out but mostly a skunk who just dined on a few leftover citric fruits. yawn

Light yellow in color. Not much to it malty and that’s about it. very basic. I drank it just to have something in front of me.

Bottle. Color is a light yellow. Minimal aroma and taste. Not very complex. Some malt and hops taste. Bland. Good for style, but not saying much in my opinion.

Draft. Aroma: Not much. Light graininess and maybe a hop. Appearance: Classic pale lager: golden yellow and clear. White head was full and frothy with decent retention. No lacing. Flavor: Light cereal grains, cooked vegetables, a touch of hop spice. Bland. Palate: Light bodied and watery. High carbonation. Overall: To say that this was better than a BMC beer, is like saying lethal injection is better than the electric chair. They’ll both kill you, but maybe the injection won’t be as painful. The only strong flavor in this was an off flavor of cooked vegetables.

From a bottle in a chilled mug: Pale gold and fizzy. Very weak, cereal aroma...virtually nonexistant, like the thin white head. Taste is surprisingly dry and refreshing. As the mug warms, this becomes somewhat watery. Definitely not as good as I’d hoped.

Drank with Stegosaurus and Beereded_one at Newton brew fest. Eh not much to say about this. Skunky aroma with hints of corn. Some fruity tastes. It’s quite crappy.

Although i like this lager, its abit too bold, as you only get the first nice sip, then the strong beer after taste. It looks good, strong yellow colour, not very bubbly, with big head

Typical pale lager except for the price. Can find myriad beers in this price range that are way superior. Better than Bud or Miller, but thats not really saying a hell of a lot, is it? Do yourself a favor if you like this style and buy a Pilsner Urquell and save some money, AND have a better beer.

bottle. light clear and straw colored. lively carbonation. Aroma is grainy and lightly sweet, not much in the way of hops. Taste is lightly sweet and grainy, with a clean finish. better than the macro lagers bud miller coors but not something I personally would drink very often.
