When 2pac said "i dont mind it. got a gay fucken name but." he expressed both a mild satisfaction with the beer and a general distaste for the name of the beer, notably his rating ends mid sentence leaving his outright conclusion of the beer to be determined by the reader leaving only his numerical rating as a indicator of his general assessment of the beer.

The beer pours a very pale yellow color with a huge tight white head.

The aroma is initaly the skunkiest thing I have ever smelled other than a skunk, this is the sort of beer Loudon Wainwright III would be compelled to write a song about. Leaving it for a minute results in less skunk and more odd lightly moldy malt and mild spiciness. Geeze this doesn’t smell nice on any accord.

The flavor is clean, fairly sweet and malty with some mild grassy hops. The beer is lightly spicy and I kind of like the crisp malt character.

The scent on this one is almost musty with a strange hop twang to it. While the taste is a light on the hops and malts, the finish is rather crisp and accompanies a heavy meal quite well. On it’s own this beer is simply to weak to enjoy.

Bottle form Pick N Save. Here is a beer with an ego. Pours bright yellow with disappearing head. Hop nose up front, very mild malt taste. While refreshing, it’s hype has more foam than it’s actual head. Grolsch is similar and better and costs about a buck less a sixer!. Here, for that extra buck you get the paper collar around the bottle cap - a Roman Collar, if you will, for something less than priestly from Belgium. Belgium has some great beers - this is not one of them! Save money and opt for Grolsch or a good German lager. You want a lager from Belgium? Watch an old Audrey Hepburn movie! Prosit!

This was like an over priced bud light, a little bit smoother with a subtle hop flavor overall not to good.

Aroma is extremely lacking. Taste is way too light and a bit skunky. I’ll drink it in a pinch.

Can. Poured golden with a thin white head. Very subdue aroma and flavor of grain and corn. Light body. Crisp.

330ml bottle, pours clear yellow with no head and small amount of carbonation. Some cheesy yeast on the nose, but not much. Tastes yeasty, citrus hops, not very much on the palate. An alright mainstream lager.

Ahhhh the mighty wife beater. Surprised I’d never got round to rating it, but I ended up in a beer disaster zone in Jersey and I refuse to drink Carling so here goes. Now the most pessismistic reviews on here are silly - this is by some distance not the worst beer in the world. But it isn’t good, looks like a basic lager, smells of nothing, served at sub-Arctic temperatures. Unnecessarily aggressive slightly chemically taste that I guess is supposed to be hops. Too strong alcohol, the hangovers are not good. Loses a point for stupid pseudo-French advertising campaign.

I thought this was the worst beer ever, and I’m ashamed to say that it is not the worst. Culturally in England, then yes. I hate stella drinkers. But I just had a draught (keg obs) half and I am really sad to say that I preferred it to the Heineken I just had. Maybe cos everywhere else I had it on draught it was watered down? It’s very cold and doesn’t really taste of anything is probably the real answer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
