Bottle form Pick N Save. Here is a beer with an ego. Pours bright yellow with disappearing head. Hop nose up front, very mild malt taste. While refreshing, it’s hype has more foam than it’s actual head. Grolsch is similar and better and costs about a buck less a sixer!. Here, for that extra buck you get the paper collar around the bottle cap - a Roman Collar, if you will, for something less than priestly from Belgium. Belgium has some great beers - this is not one of them! Save money and opt for Grolsch or a good German lager. You want a lager from Belgium? Watch an old Audrey Hepburn movie! Prosit!

Drunk at a Belgian musicfestival. Can’t say that i really like this pilsener. Belgians can make great ales but they shouldn’t brew pilseners.

It’s for those who don’t really like a good beer but still want to feel international. Very much an international lager.

hmmm... I don’t know but I was very dissapointed by this one. Very watery taste to it. Not much better than any of the Budmillercoors types. Totally overated in my opinion! Stay away!

On draught at the Uva Cafe in Downtown Disney. This beer really did not impress me on any level. The first thing I noticed on the tap was that this was from Belgium so I guess I was expecting a Belgian Ale, but this is very obviously a Pils, and an uninspiring one at that. Pours an off-putting yellow with a thin white head. Light hops aroma. Bland flavor that did nothing for me. At least it wasn’t skunky.

Piss colored, bland, but fairly clean, non-skunked, german hop aroma/taste. By no means any good.

Reasurringly expensive? Well - it's overpriced, sure. I just have no clue why it remains the beer of choice for so many. The only outstanding quality is how gassy this foul brew is.

7/19/03: bottle. uh! god!! fresh skunk stench as soon as you pop the cap on this one.. i wonder if they farm skunks to create this odor? pale yellow body. not too good, i just can’t get over the smell. (just a suggestion... maybe they should rename this beer Stenchae Aromas).

This stuff kind of sucks. It wasn't to bad when i started drinking it but as it warmed up a little it was like drinking cat urine.

Status Quo brew or "How to brew the mildest beer that we can market the hell out of and push on mainstream America?" pretty boring. This is not why I drink beer.
