UPDATED: JUL 24, 2007 this tastes like natty but slightly stronger and skunkier... only very subtle flavors of hops give away that this is a beer at all

On tap at Mile Square in Hoboken. They don’t call it Belgian Bud for nothing. I’m sure this is the shame of Belgium. It is funny to see people drinking it, thinking that they are worldly and knowledgeable about beer.

People seem to love this beer. Can’t tell you why. Must be all the francophiles who are full of shit anyway.

Bottle: Not good at all. However, I think that the beer that I had was a little skunky. Bitter and bland.

Oh my God, what a yawn. What a great big long yawn of a beer. I mean seriously. I can hardly be bothered to describe it. There’s just not much to describe.

Well the Stella is one of the easiest beerss to drink, so if you dont like beers...go for it!! Light gold with nice head, weak notes of light fruit and malt. Flavour is little sweet, no finish, watery. No development and no complexit.... just plain and boooring :-(

Bottle. Clear straw with tight head. Aromas of straw, malt, and grass. Flavors of malt and straw. Thin body with moderate carbonation.

Nose is moldy and faintly like wet dog, tastes a little bland and watery, hints of shoe sole.

ArOma is nonexistent. It pours with a nice head but leaves no lacing. Very thin like urine. Has a creamy mouthfeel but no actual taste. A dodgy example of a boring genre.

Standard European Macro green 12 oz bottle. Pours straw hue with a large, medium white head and lively, soda like carbonation. Aroma is Standard European Macro grassy aroma. Light, very crisp body. Taste is light grassy hops and bready malt. High carbonation makes it difficult to drink. I poured a half of the bottle down the drain. I find it insulting to call this brew Belgian.
