The european bud light. I have drank this every way possible- warm, cold, bottle or tap.. anyway you get it, its still comparable to a mass-produced beer from the states. Pretty boring.

pours a light clear yellow with a white head. No distinguishable aroma. Flavor is crisp, refreshing, and not at all unlike a mass produced "beer"

This is like the budweiser of Belgian beers. Nice color. Itís a good beer but not a great beer. Itís an average lager that is dependable and a couple of notches above Miller. Smooth with a little skunk bitterness on taste which is what you get with average lagers.

Pours a clearish gold, thin head that diminishes quickly. Aroma is S-K-U-N-K-E-D. Not that I expected any different. Itís possible that these euro lagers are pretty good when fresh and on tap, but I have not had a euro lager yet that was in good condition and was enjoyable. This one manages to be a little more malty and flavorful than many others.

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2006 Ordered a glass of this stuff at the Denver airport on a layover. Paid $6.25 for one glass (I know itís going to be expensive there, but still). It wasnít what I expected, but thatís partially my fault (I saw Belgium and figured it was Belgian beer). This was a skunky tasting lager with a skunky smell, an unremarkable taste, and, at least at the Denver airport, a high price tag. If youíre a lager fan, try it. Iím not and wish Iíd gotten something else.

Smells grainy and vaguely of yeast and...I donít know, funky somehow. It tastes even less and really isnít hard to drink, but neither is it a pleasure. Itís a disappointment, not because of the flavour, but because of a lack thereof.

Run of the mill canned shelf tackle, but saying that itís better than most. The bottom run of the Belgium ladder.

E xtremely skunky odor. Body is extremely watery and light with a skunky aftertaste. Not impressed at all. Similar to a Hieneken or Beckís, Belgium deserves better.

I wish I had read the reviews before I bought this, now Iím stuck 8 miles away from any store. I think the beer is a little old tasting (which should be normal) after its treck across the big pond. Nothing all that special. It tastes like a European Miller LIte with a dose of import and hint of skunk. Iíll take a fresh Bud over this. Thanks anyway.
