People seem to love this beer. Can’t tell you why. Must be all the francophiles who are full of shit anyway.

Bottle: Not good at all. However, I think that the beer that I had was a little skunky. Bitter and bland.

Overall, this is one of the best macro-brewed light lagers. It is good for get togethers with friends and having more than one. It has a light crisp flavor with a very slight citrus lift. simple construction

Sampled at Delizia, restaurant in Stavanger. Clear golden with a lasting white film leaving a fair lacing. Light malts and a metallic whiff on the nose. Light sweet, bitter flavors with notes of grains, vegetables and paper. Light to medium body. Long, papery bitter finish. Catchy name.

Bottle. Light golden color, some rocky head. Some hop aroma, but very generic smelling. Taste is pretty watery, with some citrus on the mid palate and bitterness on the finish. It’s crisp and clean, with a light mouth feel. A decent basic beer, but not very good in the grand scheme of things.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellowish. This beer has always seemed "dry" and stale to me. Not a fan.

Weird, dark aroma of recent sawn food. Then again, a nice, bright pilsner color, but not much taste. Not much of an aftertaste either. Not very special. Weeig, donker aroma van vers gezaagd hout. Wel weer een mooie, heldere pilskleur. Welliswaar weinig smaak te herkennen. Ook niet veel nasmaak. Dit is niet echt bijzonder.

Pale, hopped lager. As the Belgians would say: It tastes like a macdooglehymer with corn, hay and other farm like grassy belgian things.

Pretty bad lager. Why can’t they just use brown bottles? Roughly half of the stella’s I had were skunked; kattepis. That is an unacceptable ratio of bottles going bad. Of the ones that were ’good’ I must say that the beer lacks character. Mostly watery and very light. Jupiler is a much better alternative.
