Can. Head was small with a white slightly frothy sparkle. Spare lacing. Clear slightly sparkling body. Color was pale yellow. Aroma was light hay, straw, grain, grass. Light bodied with a thin texture and an average carbonation. Light sweet flavor with light notes of bitterness. Short finish.

UPDATED: JUL 24, 2007 this tastes like natty but slightly stronger and skunkier... only very subtle flavors of hops give away that this is a beer at all

On tap at Mile Square in Hoboken. They donít call it Belgian Bud for nothing. Iím sure this is the shame of Belgium. It is funny to see people drinking it, thinking that they are worldly and knowledgeable about beer.

Bottle: Not good at all. However, I think that the beer that I had was a little skunky. Bitter and bland.

Oh my God, what a yawn. What a great big long yawn of a beer. I mean seriously. I can hardly be bothered to describe it. Thereís just not much to describe.

Well the Stella is one of the easiest beerss to drink, so if you dont like beers...go for it!! Light gold with nice head, weak notes of light fruit and malt. Flavour is little sweet, no finish, watery. No development and no complexit.... just plain and boooring :-(

UPDATED: MAR 3, 2010 Clean, low metal taste, very neutral. Low aftertaste. All around pleasant and unobtrusive, however those are not qualities I enjoy in beer. A nice beer for what it is.

I prefer not to call this a Belgian beer, it isnít even brewed in Belgium anymore, it is brewed in Germany, blasphemy! This beer has a very cheap taste, a tiny hint of hops and a soapy aftertaste, I blame it on the mass production. Definitely not my cup of tea.

Extremely overrated, though nowhere near repulsive. Points deducted because itís a ripoff in Australia, and itís fucking brewed here! sneaky bastards... Quite a bit of flavour for a lager, smells decent, wouldínt go nuts for it. Buy it if itís on special, otherwise spend your $55 on something truly worth it.
