llcooldave (155), San Antonio, Texas, USA May 9, 2008 Rating this out of the bottle, but I’ve had this on tap and its sooo much better on tap. A little skunky right out of the bottle. Very sparkling clear golden color. Very clean tasting with a slight hoppyness in the aftertaste. Nothing much to write about. It’s ok I guess, much better than Miller or Bud.
Borresteijn (427), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 19, 2008 A watery, skunky and not so very good lager. Belgians should stick to brewing strong ales instead of lagers. fakepurseninja (468), Sammamish, Washington, USA Aug 17, 2008 Have had much worse - not much to say that has not been noted. Lived up to its reputation? I guess? Necron99 (6), Clermont, Florida, USA does not count Aug 17, 2008 Bottle. Aroma is mainly yeast. Golden color with a fizzy white head. Refreshing, mixture of grain and slight malt and a slight bitter finish. Overall, a decent beer available at most supermarkets here in Florida. Perfect for summer BBQs and long drinking sessions. If you want a great tasting beer, then you can do better. msante79 (218), Illinois, USA Aug 15, 2008 had on draft tonight at local restaurant. Pours golden with this white head. Aroma is water, yeast and malt. Flavor is watery with hints of malt, yeast and grass. A step up compared to most american macros but over rated. Steinface (63), Hatfield, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 14, 2008 I really don’t understand the fascination with this, especially in the States. Its an alright lager at best, nothing to get excited about.
