anthlovesbeer (61), north grafton, Massachusetts, USA Apr 30, 2008 First things first: a very nice beer! Very popular here in the Northeast. Available year-round in bottes and on tap. Just a nice, crisp, clean and refreshing beer. Drink very cold, however, can change to almost a Heineken flavor as it sits and warms.
thehurt01 (128), Denver, Colorado, USA Jul 17, 2008 The beer poured an golden yellow with a soapy head. The smell is straw and wheat. The taste is flat and watered down. Not good at all. xShanex (18), Mansfield, Texas, USA Jul 17, 2008 Pours light golden. Nothing special. Much like cheap american lager. Have another? No. caruso187 (3), Mount Washington, Kentucky, USA does not count Jul 16, 2008 Very smooth and refreshing. On the down side I find this beer to very filling. bbrock81 (175), Des Moines, Iowa, USA Jul 15, 2008 Ugh, how plain. Macro beer in a green bottle - a poseur. No better on tap, except that it’s easier to avoid being light-struck. Large, thin head that disappears rapidly, leaving the clear straw-colored beer in the glass. Generic armoas and flavors of light malt, weak hops, and a hint of yeast (if you manage to get some that isn’t skunky). The palate is the same as Coke’s. Don’t buy it. Please. fullers (4), Toronto, Canada does not count Jul 13, 2008 Bottle, Victory Serices Club, London. Comes with dinner. Yellow, surprisingly flavourful. Not unpleasant.
I managed to not drink this ubiquitous beer during a month stay in Belgium. How ironic to be saddled with it in London thanks to the global reach of InBev. Not a style of beer I have much time for. At least it is unobjectionable.
