1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
330ml can. Pours a clear and quite light gold, with a small white head, which fades rapidly and leaves no lace. The aroma is mercifully faint: what is there is soapy and over-sweet. There are no noticeable hops flavours, merely soap and a syrupy sweetness, with the expected metallic aftertaste. A terrible lager, not even redeemed by the surrounding Egyptian heat, since it was served lukewarm.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Excellent enough lager to quench the thirst on a hot day, although it is a hot day everyday in Egypt. Has a disappointing soapy aftertaste.

0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Brought back from a world cruise by my parents: green 330ml bottle poured into a ’Duvel’ glass on a cold and wet May evening in Shropshire.
Oh dear: this is one bland brew and it doesn’t hold it’s looks for long either.
Clear body of very pale straw coloured liquid: the head that appeared disappeared just as quickly to leave a mini wisp and thin collar around the glass.
Wet cardboard aroma, dry and metallic taste: this isn’t good. Wish I had someone to share it with (this is a live tasting).

2.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Det här var en väldigt lätt lager som i stort sett passerade obemärkt förbi. Inget jag skulle dricka om jag fick chansen att välja något annat, men som törstsläckare efter snorkling i Röda havet fungerade den, märkligt nog utmärkt.

In Egypt, one of my few from memory. I remember this as we all know INBEVs Stella, so it was a suprise to find 3 version of Stella when in Egype. Plus my Wife is called Stella, so i could now claim that Stella came in 3 different flavours... This was all you would expect from a poor lager.
