Bottle. From Egypt.
Very basic bulk lager. Not very good though. I think the best quality is the aroma. East to drink ice cold under the burning sun.

There really is no reason to drink this beer. Characterless and flavorless. Stick to hard liquor.

Had a bottle, and also a can, in the Stella Bar in Cairo, Egypt. A few more in Luxor. Nothing special in any way shape or form, though it avoids the metallic taste that you usually get in Arab North African beer. Gets the job done, but not gracefully.

Canned. Thanks MiP.
Pale golden colour. Big cottony head. Maize and metal in aroma. Light grainy flavour with low levels of cooked vegetables. Low bitterness and very light mouthfeel.

Green bottle. Thanks, after4ever! Pours pale amber with a thin white head that plays out quickly. The aroma and taste were a kaleidescope of skunk, lemon and cat piss. If there was ever a good argument for a law requiring brown glass on all beer bottles, this beer is it.

500. Thanks, Maria! Crystal clear medium gold. Cat pee, lemon, and skunk on the nose. Thin fizzy white head. Horrible sour cat pee lemon and skunk miod-palate. Stale aluminum finish. Blecch.

Bottle at after4ever’s tasting.
My understanding is that humankind has been brewing beer in Egypt for longer than anywhere else; if so, it seems they’re backsliding something wicked. Fuzzy white head, pale yellow color. Tons of cat piss in the aroma, this thing is a real standout in terms of aromatic awfulness. Skunked beyond belief, clearly its time in a green bottle did it no favors. In this condition it is surely one of the worst beers I’ve ever had, and perhaps the worst non-flavored beer of my beer drinking career.
