Thank you Kirsten and Mogens for bringing this one back after having chased around a lot to find a beer... Straw color and a nice, white head. The aroma has a light malty sweetness, notes of grain and hints of citrus. The flavour is watery, but smooth with light notes like in the aroma and practically no bitterness. It’s very uncomplicated, not at all unpleasant and very easy to drink. I bet this is nice in the warmth in Egypt.

i ’ve had it in Egypt when the temperature was about 35 Celsius. It was so good! So, this is a light lager beer with an easy aroma. Not a big beer, a commercial, mass-produced, drinkable stuff, but it is very good in the desert, maybe at the pyramids.

I had this in the Sinai with a couple of Egyptians I met. Served in a big cold bottle, it was a plain lager. But in the heat, with all the smoking going on, it went down well. All those years ago.....
