A clear yellow beer with no head. The aroma is sour malty (brewing cereal?) with notes of caramel and alcohol - the alcohol in the nose is surprising in such a light beer. The flavor is of hay, caramel, and malt. It is a boring pilsener. It was a lot better in Luxor 4 years ago in 40 degrees Centigrade - or is that just a lapse of memory? But it still brings back memories. Thanks to Alex (fiulijn) for giving me this one.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and slight pale yellow with a white head. Light fruity hops aroma, slight citrus note. Flavour is medium dry to light fruity. Finish is light malty and with a mild bitterness into the finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Nice flowery nose, but the hops seem to have evaporated without leaving just the slightest touch of bitterness... Nice golden, almost absent head. Incredibly sweet - even for a 3rd world lager. Now we know why King Tut-Ankh-Amun died: in shame....

Canned (thanks Bov). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is rubber, metal, poop, rubber and some cereals and eggyness. Flavour is strange fruityness, metal, rubber, and quite unpleasant in many ways. This is what I will blame if my stomach gets upset.

Golden coloured. Bready, dry and bitter. Rather tasty in fact.

Can. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma. Fruity malty grainy flavor. Has a fruity grainy finish.

Bottle, 4.5% at La Bodega, Cairo. Grainy aroma. Clear yellow colour. Small white head. Watery flavour, low bitterness. Quite thin, but clean.

Blond color. No head retention. Some malt aroma and flavor, common lager, not so bad.

Bottle. Nice head with medium duration. Color is pale golden. Aroma and taste are bread, malt and hops.

In Egypt, one of my few from memory. I remember this as we all know INBEVs Stella, so it was a suprise to find 3 version of Stella when in Egype. Plus my Wife is called Stella, so i could now claim that Stella came in 3 different flavours... This was all you would expect from a poor lager.
