COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Malt sweetness and a bit of chocolate in the aroma. Red with an okay lasting head. Dominated by the malt in the taste, but also some caramel. Medium body whin a thin but creamy texure. Flat carbonation with a very short finish.

(bottle 11/10-2013) Large beige head, dark red brown color, fresh light caramel aroma, looks great in glass, medium co2, it has a bit too much co2 to my taste, light bitter. Brew #217, BB date Jun 2014.

@Ølfestival København 2013 - quite clear brown beer with a little beige foam left; toasted aroma of brownies, hazelnutty and pretty hoppy; assertive ans astringent; medium-bodied, some late sourness; very bitter and dry; long toasted biscuity finish with lingering notes of fruity hops

100ml poured from a bottle at Ølfestival København. Deep brown coloured body. Virtually no head. Spotty lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malts. Slightly roasted mid-sweet malty taste, notes of earth and marmalade. Mostly sweet to the ending. Medium to thin bodied. So-so (Copenhagen, 23.05.2013).

50 cl. flaske med 5%. Brygnummer 217. Dejlig øl. Passer godt til en let frokost eller blot til almindelig nydelse. Mørkebrun farve

Bottle, 50 cl. Clear ruby reddish brown with a very small off-white head. Sweet aroma with vague notes of caramel, hay, toffee and ripe dark fruits. Very watery body with a uncomfortable sticky texture and a sweet nutty taste. Extremely uninteresting.

Bottle, vin-og-gaver.dk. The aroma is obvious during the pour and is quite a potent sweet malt smell. The flavour is dominated by rich fruit cake and brown sugar and can be fairly boozy. The finish reminds me of canned Newcastle Brown Ale, with metallic notes on the roof of the mouth. The sweetness overpowers everything else in this beer. Quite disappointing.

Pours a clear and copper beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt and caramel. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is sweetness. Overall an average beer.
