3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled. Dark color, medium dark brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, some vegetable, quite some hop, grapefruit and pine, like a combined IPA and stout. Quite malty taste, loads of chocolat, quite bitter, some coffee. Good taste, not completely balanced between IPA and stout, but a quite nice try actually.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at Chris_o Shindig. And so the list of big intense dark beers continued. Intense harsh malt and hop. To be honest it was getting hard to distinguish between them all. Yes it was good, but my taste buds were saying that about most things by that time.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2007, 6.8% ABV
Black color; thick creamy head. Light coffeish aroma. Good body structure, and for roasted malt lovers (not me) it has an excellent roasted malt flavor, without corners, really creamy. Long final. Very good.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle@chris_o. Black currant and chocolate aroma. Pours beautiful, black, brown head, good lace. Flavor is a bit bland however although there is wheat, oatmeal, some coffee and light roasted. If the flavors were just a bit stronger it would be a very good brew.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a totally pitch dark black colour with a thick rocky creamy dense well lasting light brown head leaving a good sticky lacing. LOvely profiund aroma of smoke, liquorice, bitter chocolate, coffee and well roasted malt and caramel. Good well filling mouthfeel. The flavour has a great well roasted robust though soft maltiness with plenty of bitter dark chocolate, coffee, bit of smoked wood and dark fruits with a bitter roasty long lasting dry finish. Just sooo tasty a brew indeed! Mis gracias van al señor CS. Un placer tomar algo tan sabrosa coma esta EDS.

Odd, salty smell. Some coffee and smoke too. Rather thick, smokey sweet flavour. Fairly thick and very nice. Another one from Óskar’s stash.
