Bottle @ Københavnske Øldage 2007 in Copenhagen. Hazy brown black color with a huge creamy excellent lacing fully lasting brown head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, burnt, dark chocolate, licorice. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duraton, and a good balance. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Easy to drink.

CBF07 sample from tap. Pours black with a good and very brown and dense head. Aroma of hardroasted malt and a citric note. Flavour is malty, liqourice and refreshing citric. Good dry finish. No smoke notes, deliberate and indicated by the brewer.

50 cl bottle: Dark brown to black with handsome brown creamy head. Aroma is liquirice & roasted coffee. Very smooth, soft & creamy mouthfeel. Flat cabonation - on that note very british. Heavy bitter roast. Very nice!
