3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(On tap) Completely black and opaque with a light brown head. Burned malt aroma. Quite full-bodied with a solid malt base, somewhat burned and coffeeish. Perhaps the finish is fairly tired with some malt bitterness. But decent. 110507

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUN 26, 2007 Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Really black with dark brown head. Tarry licorice aroma. Dryish and well rounded. Solid roasty chocolaty malt, some grassy hops. Lingering salty finish. Good, more English style beer than most of the new danes.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2007, 6.8% ABV
Black color; thick creamy head. Light coffeish aroma. Good body structure, and for roasted malt lovers (not me) it has an excellent roasted malt flavor, without corners, really creamy. Long final. Very good.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at Chris_o Shindig. And so the list of big intense dark beers continued. Intense harsh malt and hop. To be honest it was getting hard to distinguish between them all. Yes it was good, but my taste buds were saying that about most things by that time.
