Commercial Description:

Bottle. Pours mahogny with a firm off white head. Nice blend of hops on a medium bodied beer, stil it’s to simple and misses a dimention.

Bottle. There is nothing wrong with this IPA. It smells sweet and piney, the hops are there in the taste aswell, but I miss some malt to balance this rather boring beer.

(Bottle) Pours light hazy amber with a creamy, large head. The aroma is medium hoppy and light to medium malty with tones of cannabis, pine, wood, juicy oranges, canned lemons, tart apricots, black tea, herbs, caramel, toffee and doughy bread. Some buttery, nougat-like hints. Bit earthy and tobacco-like with hints of liquorice. The hop aromas are not super aggressive but suits the beer perfect. The flavour is light sweet, medium bitter and tiny acidic from the hops. Tones of citrus/grapefruit, tea, light pine, grass, tobacco, earthy caramel and bread. The mouthfeel is soft but too resiny bitter to be harmonic. Tart hoppy and clear malty finish. Medium bodied. Better than expected.

Bottled. Pours out in a deep shady reddish amber colour with a rich sticky white head. Flowers, pine, treacle and cookies, dough in the aroma. Medium-bodied with notes of grass, pine, brown sugar, cookies and apricots. Grass, pine, biscuits and mild soap in the medium-bitter aftertaste.

At the Ølfestival, Esbjerg, Denmark 22-10-09. Pours clear amber with white head. Its sweet but there is a thrusting citrus bitterness trying to shine through, bitter tangy and with some peachy fruitiness. A6 A4 F7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Big offwhite shiny head. Chestnut brown body with carbonation. Floral tropical fruity hop aroma with citric notes. Dryish catty wooden chalky taste with citric dandelion notes. Mid-bodied. Astringent mouthfeel. Dry catty dandelion aftertaste with resin notes. Bitterness is somewhat harsh. Bet there is Simcoe in this. Also bet it’s better fresh. Still, not bad. (0.5l bottle, Drue & Vin, Svendborg. Batch #63.)

Orange ale, slightly hasy, crisp white head. Malty, faintly metallic aroma. Hoppy flavour dominated by grape fruit. Dry, yet sugar sticky palate. Lasting bitterness. Above average.
