Flavour is sweet with roasted malt, caramel, molass, spices, dark fruits and. Medium carbonation. Overall not that interesting, and will probabely never try again.

First scent I will and think of raspberries. Good flavor with an aftertaste of licorice. I still thought the beer was a little too boring. Something’s missing, I think, or the taste too thin. Hard to describe.

Aroma: Smelling of brown bread, over ripe apples, some pine needles and old cheese.
Appearance: A hazy brown colored beer. A fluffy tan head with some lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Tasting nuts and brown sugar, sweet dark bread, some Port and licorice.
Palate: Medium low carbonation, a soft and oily texture. A big body with a slightly dry finish.
Overall: In all good maurity, very good with mince pie.

Bottle. Clear amber/mahogany beer with a small beige head. Roasted licorice aroma, vinous, raisins, figs, chocolate notes. Vinous flavor, figs, dades, woody notes, chocolate, caramel, roasted, floral notes, some peach and grapes.

500 nl bottle. Aroma of figs, dates and cardemom. Tastes pretty sweet, fruity (same fruits as in the fragrance) and lots of alcohol.

Aroma: fruity, candy, some chocolate, earthy hops.
Taste: sweet licorice, chocolate, red berries, fruity, roasted malt, wine gums.
Above medium-bodied, smooth.

Flaska provad med ölföreningens julölsprovning. Parfymerad doft av möbelpolish. Smak av bröstkarameller, mjölkchoklad, blommig och naingens kaffe. Spretig och komplex och en stor söta som ändå fungerar som sammanhållande kraft. Som en påse blandade gammaldags karameller. Riktigt god.

Decent balance, not as much caramel sweetness as in most Danish Christmas beers. This one has spices and citrus. More for cookies and cakes than with food, perhaps, or just for sipping.
