Vi har arbejdet på højtryk for at kunne servere denne danmarksnyhed, øllen som er en lys nærmest ”tør” øl . Det er en perfekt ledsager til Sushi, men også dejlig at tage med ud i sommeren.

Tap. Pours a pale hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is a touch bitter - not much else. Flavour is limited as well - only a touch of slight bitterness in the aftertaste.

Draught. Light golden coloured. Unclear. Dense off white head. Grassy and sweet aroma. Flavour is grainy and has some metal and straw notes. Is quite watery and light dry. Has light bitter end with some vague sweetness. A bit boring.

Bottle. Batch number 13. Pours a pale golden colour with a big lively mostly diminishing white head leaving a good lacing. Soft weak slightly sweet aroma of rice and grains. Fair mouthfeel. The flavour is soft with rice and some sweet grains ending with a very pleasant good hoppy bitterness. Dry and bitter well lasting finish. Went well with the Chivas Whisky. Now that I drink of it then this is a bit more dry version of the Asahi Super Dry 5% alc. vol. Kanpai for this oishii biiru gaigjin version of a nihon biiru. Ganbate Stensboogaard! Københavnske Øldage 07. Draught. This beer has been brewed with 15-20% rice, and I missed the opportunity to taste it with sushi. It’s slightly hazy and golden and the aroma is very pilsner-like with notes of malt and straw. This goes for the flavour too, it has light fruity notes and a refreshing citrus, that makes it kind of crisp. 2198

I rounded off my highly satisfying participation at the 9th Copenhagen Beer Festival with 100ml of this pale lager, poured from a bottle. Bright golden. Modest, white head. Citric hints to the nose. Corn-like taste with lemony hops. Brief bitter endnotes. Clean on the swallow. Might pair well with sushi, otherwise, rather neutral (17.05.2009).

CBF 2014. Golden coloured and clear. Has a white head, diminishing. Sweet aroma, grain. Flavor is sweet too. Creamy texture.

Bottle. Shigh creamy and long lasting white head. Hazy light yellow to light green body. Weak citrus like aroma. Flavor like thin lemon water without much hops bitterness. Low carbonation and a short aftertaste. As a stand alone beer it is too boring in my opinion. Might be good with sushi as it is so mild.
