jjpm74 (2899), Connecticut, USA Oct 7, 2007 Pours dark brown with some copper tinges and a creamy tan head. Smells earthy with some decent sweet qualities. Tastes of sweet malt, some figs, hints of tea. Mouthfeel is thick. Finish is slightly watery. faroeviking (4134), Faroese Beer Republic über, Denmark Jan 1, 2007 Bottle. Dark brown colour with average off-wgite head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, hops and some chocolate. Well roasted malty flavour along with some raisin, coffee and bitter-sweet chocolate. A quite good porter. SSSteve (1512), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Jul 28, 2006 sweet aroma of banana, hops, and some chocolate cereal. huge creamy tan head on a dark ruby colored beer. a very smooth beer with banana and hops in the finish. some milky chocolate as well. a little thin. i liked it better than baltika’s baltic porter. oh6gdx (5857), Vaasa, Finland Apr 7, 2006 Bottled, thanks brunnsbe!. My beer 1300, and a good way to "celebrate" it. Dark ruby red colour, mediumsized slightly off-white head. Pleasant roasted malts in aroma, along with coffee, chocolate and burnt wood. The same things in flavour, along with a sting of alcohol and licorace. Very good, I would like to have some of this in my cellar... KnutAlbert (2174), Oslo, Norway Mar 5, 2006 Very full flavour, with a complex aroma. Heavily roasted. A little sweet and sour, sour cherries. A pity that this is not brewed any more - this could have been a hit on the international market!
