3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours very reddish brown with a big pillowy beige head that quickly recedes. And -- holy shit -- lots of large chunks and flakes floating around. Surprisingly clear for all that sediment. Aroma is mildly malty, caramel, some fruit (cherry? apricot?), a little sweet and metallic. Flavor is malty sweet, caramel, sort of earthy, but not really sour or funky. Iím not picking up too many elements of a typical dubbel (banana, clove, coriander, candy sugar) or even a Belgian for that matter, but itís tasty and drinkable in a generic sort of way. Medium mouthfeel. Improves in both aroma and taste as it warms -- gets more complex and fruity. In the end, I canít tell if Iím intrigued or freaked out by all the crap floating around in my glass.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle 50cl swing top: Poured a deep brown with an off white to tan head. Aroma was sweet malt and fruit. Taste was sweet caramel/maple malt not as dark fruit as the aroma had led me to believe.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours brown with debris noticable. Aroma is of malt. Tastes unlike it looks, it is not heavy and notes of bananas and spice are present. Nice ABV content.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours from the bottle to a brown color with little head or lacing. Nose was malty fruit, but mouthfeel was very thin and watery, which carried over into, and overwhelmed the taste. Finsih was short and metallic and left a lot to be desired. Not a good dubbel.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not a bad dubbel, with flavors of maple. A little on the thin side. Not as fizzy as I usually like. Flavors became duller as the glass emptied.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Minimal aroma of nothing much really. Looks dark brown with some lacing and average head retention. Tasted like sweet honey, brown sugar, and watered down alcohol. At the end of the day, this isnít the best abbey dubbel Iíve ever had, but I donít think itís as average as everyone else. Itís alright for the price. Cheers!

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
The only main problem with this is that itís just not very substantial. The aroma is a very pleasing fruity-type, and it presents a wonderful Belgian dark maroonish-brown with a fluffy head. But flavor-wise it ends not not too distinctive (even if tasty) and the body is hardly existent. On the lower end for the style, which still rates well for a beer.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours a brune body with a tan head. Malty body caramel some chewy fruit notes, and a mild rye bitterness. Full bodied with a sweet finish. Eh.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
A dark brown beer with sediment & no head. Aroma was fruity. Taste was fruity, thin, & a watery aftertaste. Not a whole lot going on here.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Got a bottle from my brother. Not bad aroma and flavors, typical profile with super high carbonation.
