2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 AndrewM (126) - Waco (Buckle of the Bible Belt), Texas, USA - NOV 24, 2006Not much head on the pour. Brown / amber. Aroma is light and fruity. Flavor seems a bit off with its shot at semi-sweet dark fruits, and the palate finishes out very watery. Disappointing.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 sayravai (4655) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 19, 2012
(Bottled) Deep, dark blood red with a medium, firm and lacy head. Aroma reminds me of Regal Xmas without the spices (the caramely malt and house yeast), but there’s clearly some orange peel. Flavor is sweetish-caramely and orange-fruity - again quite like Regal. Medium+ body with quite high and foamy CO2. A well-made, basic dubbel with the Bocq house flavor dominating. 4236
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 cards04 (829) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 25, 2012
I think this is deserving of a higher rating. Smells like brown sugar and caramel. Tastes like dried fruit and a bit of sweet bubble gum. Certainly not the greatest dubbel....but still quite decent.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 northropfrye (1352) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 25, 2012
Initially a sweet cola aroma. Brown colour with off white head. Prunes and seven up flavour, a bit watery finish, seltzery. Not bad, but not a great dubbel, either.
