Pours from the bottle to a brown color with little head or lacing. Nose was malty fruit, but mouthfeel was very thin and watery, which carried over into, and overwhelmed the taste. Finsih was short and metallic and left a lot to be desired. Not a good dubbel.

Normal dubbel type aromas and taste, looks thick but comes off sort of watery. Dark brown, like a cola, with thin skin of a beige head. Aroma is dried fruits and a hint of molasses. Taste is more of the same with a hint wood, eat and bourbon barrel.Very short finish.

Ar: Brown sugar, faint coffee - some toasted malt and melon. Ap: Cloudy amber-brown - medium beige head with low-moderate retention, leaves a ring of foam and thin cap. T: Sweet caramel and whole grain bread - peach and toffee - low bitterness with slight mossy flavor - quick finish, dark sugars. P: Medium body with high carbonation - finish is dry. O: Easy-drinking dubbed - sweetness and dark sugar flavors are nice, but fruitiness is lacking.

Dark brown with a short, off-white head. Scent is cola, caramel. Taste is bready, dark fruit. Slightly creamy with a bit of fizz. Much better than it’s numbers suggest.
