75cL bottle. Murky brown with tinges of orange. Practically no head. Rich currant, alefruit, old caramel, and alcohol in the aroma. Completely flat, watered down toffee, anise, and yeasty spicy ester flavors with a heavy alcohol presence. Some raisins and more alcohol in the finish. Mouthfeel is very thin.

Tall ceramic bottle. Very few bubbles, and no head. Dark brown, yet clear. Nose is of licorise?, choc., and alcohol. This is complex, dispite being almost flat. Watery mouthfeel is this one’s downfall, the rest is in layers of malt complexness, toffee, choc, and licorise. I can’t spell. Suprisingly alcoholic. Good, but I would’ny drink this again unless it was fresh. 25 oz @ $15, ouch for flat beer.

Bottle. Pours mahogany with a well-lacing off-white head. The aroma is burnt sugar, green leaves, some sweet chocolate. The flavor is rather dry with lots of dry leaves and an ambient molasses tone. Ok, but nothing special.

bottle. Pours a dark amber with a foamy white head. Aroma is very yeasty with bright cloves, flowers, maybe a bit of bubblegum. This comes across as quite watery and acidic with just enough sweet spiced notes to make it interesting. I was all excited about the prospect of a Belgian porter and here I am drinking a slightly above medicore brew that is most certainly not a porter. OH well.

This beer introduces itself with an aroma infused with the scents of malt, dates, honey, caramel, hops, and toffee. It is a brown solution with an off-white head and good lacing. This sweet beer offers a flavor that has hints of dates, nuts, and biscuits. It fades leaving a mild nutty taste lingering.

A very faint chocolate aroma. This Belgian style is light-brown colored and light flavored as well. Not very sweet but quite fruity. Head is more substantial than the beer. A dark chocolate after-afterfinish.

Cap comes off with no sound. Pours flat murky brown. Sour tar and chocolate aroma. Tart and thin with a multi vitamin like flavor. Not like any porter I’ve had.
