3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, 75cl ceramic. It pours a clear, dark brown body under a big beige head. It’s fruity and sweet on the nose, in that belgo-style way. Some cellar and dried fruits too. Belgo-fruity and sweet flavor, dried fruits, dark sugars and some cellar too. Full-bodied, effervescent and quite dry on the palate. Dry, fruity, caramel finish. A nice beer with a misleading name. 100331

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(bottle - 750 ml swingtop) Clear copper pour with a fizzy and lasting tan head. Aroma is lightly sweet but rather malty with a very light hint of spice and yeast. Kind of mild fruityness at the end. Sweet and malty at the start with a very pronounced fruit undertone. Some spice and a very nice yeast flavor come through at the middle. Finishes with a fruity and sweet caramel note. Not bad.
