Not your typical porter as I have experienced them to be.This was to my liking as I like a very smooth brew that goes down easy with no bitterness or sharp aftertaste.Good lacing.Great stonebottle.

Ceramic flip-cap bottle. Pours dark velvet, and the nose is of raisins. If this is a porter, then I’m a broadway dancer. This is more like a cross between a brown ale and an amber. It’s good stuff, with the malt coming through with a strong whisper. A slight raisin taste is evident at first, followed by a nice subdued roasted nut flavor. Good stuff, just not worth the price! I can still get this at Spec’s in Houston, but I guess once their supply is out, it’s over.

Caramel and toffee aromas, pours a clear ruby, with a medium sized toffee head, and some pretty lace. Tastes of caramel, toffee and roasted chicory. Quite well balanced, medium bodied, nicely bitter. Well done!

Pours amber into a Tumbler. Off-white micro head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Mild malt aromas. Sour and thin chocolate upfront with a sharp, tingly finish.
