Clear light brown/dark orange with a fluffy off-white head. Sweet malts in the nose with a hint of chocolate. Watery body. Lightly sweet fizzy ending. A light simple porter in a fancy bottle.

Ceramic flip-cap bottle. Pours dark velvet, and the nose is of raisins. If this is a porter, then I’m a broadway dancer. This is more like a cross between a brown ale and an amber. It’s good stuff, with the malt coming through with a strong whisper. A slight raisin taste is evident at first, followed by a nice subdued roasted nut flavor. Good stuff, just not worth the price! I can still get this at Spec’s in Houston, but I guess once their supply is out, it’s over.

Dark Brown Color with Sandy Head. Dry Stale Malt ARoma. Very Carbonated. Subtle Flavor. Dark Malts on the Tongue...Very Light and Thin Bodied...Session Dark Ale. This Brew Tastes Like It Had Been Shelved in a Very Warm Room.

Sweet malty aroma with hints of alcohol and clay. Red brown body with a little head. Flavor very thin with malt, alcohol, hops, cumin and plums. Thin finish but bitter. Great Stonebottle.

Well, you won't have to worry about this one becoming light struck - what a cool stone looking crock! I enjoyed this both very cold and warmed to a more proper temp. Either way, it was so etremely smooth, mild yet full flavored - malty caramel and interesting spices in the dry finish.

Bottle. A ruby brown color with basically no head. Raisins and plums in the aroma. It doesn't resemble a porter I'm used to, although I do like the aroma. The body is very light, but the flavors reveal themselves early and finish well.
