Pours a very cloudy off white with tons of bits of sediment floating around, they way a witbier should. Citrus and coriander dominate the smell. Citrus flavors are up front and bready malts finish it off. Not breaking any boundaries with the taste but who cares this is a damn fine ale that is a true example of what a witbier should be. I’ll take it whenever I can get it.

Bottle. Cloudy gold with a tall, foamy white head. Aroma is strong citrus, spice, dusty yeast, banana, wheat and light bubblegum. Taste is big yeast notes, soft spice, citrus fruit, light banana, wheat, flowers and bubblegum. Body is light with a soft mouthfeel. Carbonation is spritzy and strong. Ends with more wheat and yeast up front with flowers, candied fruit, citrus notes and light spice rounding it out.

almost an exact replica of Hoegaarten. its amazing really. maybe a bit more spicy bite on the back of the tounge, but otherwise a perfect remake. im not complaining, mind you. its great. just eerie.

Poured from a bottle. Appearance is very pale gold with a huge white head of loose bubbles. Aroma is light and fruity.taste is light and somewhat grainy with a nice papery finish. Meh.

Spice and yeast aroma. Nice bottle. Coriander, yeast, sweet barley, then some slighty acidity in the finishing bite. Easy-drinking and at no point did the spices become too much. Well done witbier.

Taste is yeast, perfume, soap, candy and grass. Easy enough to drink, but not very interesting.

Light yellow coloured beer with a head that should hold a bit longer... Doesn’t look to good. Lots of yeast and wheat, citrus-fruits. Light spiced, but to much from the same... Nothing interesting. Good refreshing, but not my kind of beer. A bit watery, more soda. Seems to be brewed by Scheldebrouwerij ("Sterkens Brewery") and exported to the USA normally. totally diffirent label, but will be the same beer.

Brewed at... Ommegang? Available in Belgium in classic 33cl? Don’t think so... Scheldebrouwerij, probably;. Huge, very dense & fine white head over pale, lemonjuice-like, well-carbonated beer. Overwhelming, near-nauseating coriander smell, like an alternative bar of toilet soap. Likewise flavour, childrens’ softdrink-like, perfumed to the gills. Spritzy, soapy perfume keeps lingering on. Beer for the 13-yr. old fans of Gust’n Bibber.
