golden colour, some white head, which disappears quickly; aroma of some hay, corn, cardboard, and earthy notes; taste of malty sweetness, some cardboard and earth again, hints of alcohol and metallic notes; definitely the worst belgian-style ale (especially belgian strong ale) I’ve ever tasted...however I have some doubt about the accurate selection of its style...

Ogi got this one too at some random Auchan. Poured a golden body with a small white head. Mostly clean malty aroma, very light dust, very light alcohol, sweetish. Clean sweet/sweaty, very dusty malty taste, ending bitterish. Some alcohol. Strange really in some way I can’t place. Could it really be a really, really bad ale?

Pours amber colour. Lush white bubbly head. Aroma: malt, corn, lots of alcohol. Medium body. Taste: Light sweet & medium bitter. Finishes abrupt preparing pretty bitter alcoholic aftertaste. Deffinitely too much alcohol.

06.10.2013. 0,5l Can. Metz, France. Yellow colour with white head. Aroma of weak malt combined with lots of alcohol. Moderate bitterness opens for the malt sweetness. Notes of faint banana and sugar. Aftertaste is alcohol and malt sweetness.

Bière de base, forte en alcool, belle couleur dorée mais gout neutre. Passable

Yellow pour, fizzy white head. Cheap sweet sugars, corn, and alcohol. Blech, bad, but not the worst of these.

Can 50cl @Auchan. A clear yellow beer with medium head. Nose is on barley sugar. Aroma is bitter and a bit burning, low carbonation, watery, low body, almost no hops, long bitter aftertaste, a boring beer.

can from Auchan Illkirch-Graffenstaden. Clear pale yellow colour, large white head. Shy, slightly fruity nose. Watery, malty-sweet, dusty-woody hops in the far background. Strange on the palate, dry and slightly sour. What’s that supposed to be?

Decent head with some staying power, boring yellow body with almost no carbonation. Aroma of malt, carboard, alcohol, tin. Taste is boot leather, tin, dirty armpits, burning burlap. Bitter finish. It’s like they tried to hide the high alcohol with some very earthy adjuncts and it just ends up tasting like crap.
