Found due to a huge traffic jam on A3 Autobahn - I had to make a detour and found the brewery along the Umleitung. Clear golden color with a thick fluffy slightly off-white head. Malty nose. Aroma is malty with soft hops. Flavour has more of the grassy hoppyness, malt and hay. Dry and pleasantly bitter finish. Nice!

Bottle by 30.7. Nose is grainy and musty coming out of the bottle with just a little citrus. Dull golden in the glass with a white head. Taste citrus-sweet with late-arriving light bitterness and mushy grain, medium body. Misses its mark, this needs to taste much fresher to work.

Thanks bierkoning! Clear golden color, big cloudy white head, lace. Cardboardish aroma with Saaz spiceyness. Light bodied. Light woody maltyness, grains, grassy bitterness. Typical Zwickel-flavors but quite lame overall. Probably fresh from tap this is much better.

It’s hazy, yellow-golden with a huge, creamy, white head. The aroma is mild with notes of malt, brad, light straw and flower. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of bread, straw, light citrus, and the finish has a dry, refreshing bitterness.

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, hay, toasted, sweet malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, hay - straw. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110422]

Süffiger und aromatisch hopfiger Antrunk mit leichten Herbenoten, die sich später verstärken. Dabei bleibt der Hopfen aber gleich oder nimmt sogar ab, da er sich gegen eine deutliche Bitterkeit behaupten muss. Aromatisch, grasig, abgestimmt. Im Abgang grasigund süßlich bitter. /8/10/11//10

Clear golden with a medium off white head. Malty aroma with hints of grassy hops and malt. Flavour had grassy hops, malt and straws. Finished dry and bitter. Well made and clean. Nice

Draught at the brewpub. Mild dusty aroma. Clear yellow colour. Small white head. Good flowery aroma hop flavour. Clean bitterness. Good chalky flavour.

0,5 l bottle, bought at a petrolstation, Germany. It was hard to find here on ratebeer.
Poured hazy yellow with a really goodlookin’ white foamy head that never disappeares. Full of yeast and herbal hop aroma, fine grainy perfume. Nice hop character leads with a smooth malt base, yeast. Drinkable zwickl!!!

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Very zippy, nice head. Tastes mild, modest spicy, zippy and fresh. Well balanced finish. Good beer!
