COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The 2005 version was 6.4% ABV, 2006 was 7.2% ABV.

50 cl bottle 2007 edition. The anis and hops are dominating but you still sense some complexity in the background. Still I would prefer a Herslev Stjernebryg if I feel like an anis x-mas beer. Nonetheless, I found this quite pleasant and interesting. ABV 7.0%

Bottled. Hazy amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is ginger, yeast, zest and some mild leathery and wooden notes. Flavour is spices, leather, some zest, yeast, caramel and mild fudge. A bit too yeasty, but otherwise quite pleasant.

Bottle, 50 cl. Hazy orange with an off white head. Sweet spiced aroma of cloves, toasted malts. and a whiff of orange zest. Taste follows the nose, but is much too sweet and malty for my palate. Yet another boring x-mas beer.

Cloudy amber color; the bottle is a slow gusher, but in the end there is not much head. There is some sweet caramel aroma, light fudge too. Semi-sweet caramel and fudge flavor, with a light nutty touch, and moderate bitterness; it has a light spicy touch, some bitter oranges.
Simple like some homebrews, but not too bad.

Minimal alkoholisch. Definitiv gelungen! 10/12/11/12/10/12

(boutles, 7.0% abv, as Stevns Fiddivous Påskebryg, courtesy of Papsoe) Hazy, copper colour with a big and slightly beige foamy head. Slightly sweet and yeasty-spicy toast-malty aroma with caramel and aromatic, slightly piney and fruity hoppy notes. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Solid toast-malty, slightly fruity taste with piney noble hops and spicy accents; moderately sweet and pretty spicy malty finish with noble hop character and a warming alcoholic touch. Pleasant brew for the cold months of the year. 02.XII.09
