3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, tasting @ yespr] Average thick creamy light brown head that mostly lasted. Black colour with light particles in flow. Good thick film like lacework. Very sweet chocolate like sniff, with light notes of sweet coffee and light feel of brown sugar. Over the palate roasted malt and hint of liquorish. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Light to moderated sweet flavour with light bitter notes. Finish was roasted malty notes, which almost felt like smoke notes and a hint of fruity feel.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Near black colored with red hints. Nice aroma, definitely can be noticed to be Danish: smoke and mild roastiness in fine balance, some yeasty-flowers and toffee here also. Medium bodied. Flavor is also good dry stoutish: some smoke with dry roastiness, midl caramel and vegetably-flowers also come up. Aftertaste has slight alcohol with lasting roastiness. Excellent one.

Bottle. Bought at Kolding Vinhandel. Pours black with slight brown edges. A small, bubbly brown with; still a little creamy. Powerful aroma, some roasted malts, a big dose of chocolate and some coffee. Relatively high carbonation. Flavour is dominated by coffee, some roasted malts and a dose of sweet caramel at the back. The roasted malts and the hops are well-balanced.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
500. Thanks, Maria! Oh, yeah, this one hits me right where I live. Sweet and roasty good. Pours dark opaque black with a thick, moussy, bubbly tan head. Intermittent sedimentary strata of lace on the way down. Big sweet chocolatey roast nose. Nice medium bodied attack with some tingly carb and nice forward flavors of roast and chocolate. Tiday bitter resin finish but very well sequenced against the intensity of mid-palate flavors. Beautifully considered and well-balanced stout that hides that 7.5 surprisingly well. This is exactly the kind of sneaky strong delicious dark beer that pulls the biggest hangover down from the highest shelf for me on Saturday mornings. Probably a good thing I only have 50cl of it in the house.

Bottled at Københavnske Øldage. Near black.Tarry nose. Sweet and very resiny with a strange plastic unpenetrable mouthfeel. Herbal bitter finish. The very strange mouthfeel makes it feels like the beer is surrounded by a baloon when I drink it, and no flavours seep out.
