Aug 2, 2008 Bottle 50cl. Pitch black body with a small brown head. Spicy liquorice in the nose. Fat body completely dominated by liquorice but also notes of malt. Dry finish. Very special brew - maby a bit out of my league (yet).

Jul 17, 2008 Bottle. Black colour with medium brown long lasting head. Aroma with lots of licorice. Flavour spiced and again lots of licorice , its probably the staranise that gives taste. Very nice. As allwas I find spiced beers underrated.

Jun 30, 2008 Bottled @ Aarhus Beerfestival 2008. Aroma has a lot of laurel and licorice. Pitch black coloured with a beige head. Taste is sweet, has laurel, licorice (the dutch licorice: ’ drop’ ) Quite sparkling, bit unbalanced.

Jun 19, 2008 Bottled. Very deep brown colour, mediumsized head. Aroma is licorice, cardamom, some wheat and also some mild earthyness. Flavour is quite much the same, but more sweet. Licorice, anis and cardamom (or cardamomlike spices) stay in aftertaste along with some earthyness. A bit out of balance maybe, otherwise very good.
