500ml Bottle served in a pint sleeve. Mahogany brown with a tan head. fruity farmyard aroma’ definite cowpat in there. Liquorice imp flavour slightly ashy and medicinal. Thin body, not the best BIPA, and suffers from one of my personal Bêtes Noir - too gassy.

.25 pour from refrigerated bottle into wine glass. Black, opaque, super fluffy off-white. Sweet, bready, a hint of caramel. Light to medium body, dry. Lightly bitter, bready,

Bouteille.

Medelbeska. Oljig munkänsla. Något tunn i kroppen.

Bottle from Hippo Beers in Glasgow. Mahogany with a frothy cream head. Fruity citrus aroma. The taste starts fruity with light spice before some pine and a bit of liquorice in the background. Not the best BIPA ever, but OK.

Bottle, shared at game night. Medium-to-dark brown, tan head. Pleasant floral hop character, maybe some stonefruit, chocolate and brown bread. Light, and with only moderate bitterness, but nicely flavoured. Good session black IPA.

RCx240 (194) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - APR 23, 2015
Pours thick, black, and nearly opaque, with a foamy tan head. Aroma is grassy, floral, with hints of chocolate and coffee. Taste is rich, malty, roasty, with notes of chocolate and finishing astringent with lingering floral notes. Average body, slightly oily texture. Very well balanced, enjoyable black IPA.

Cask at Cloisters Bar, Edinburgh.
Deeep ruby one with a fine creamy cappuccino like tan head. Moderated fruity aroma of light coffee-roasted grains, easy herbal hops. Easy drinkable ale, light but balanced roasty-malty mouthfeel with a nice bit of hops in the finish.
