Cask at Bow Bar as Cauld Reekie extra hot. Pours very dark brown. Nose is light chili, roasted malts. Tastes chocolate malts, quite thin and watery palate followed by a gentle chili burn. Ok but kinda feels the chili covers that rather watery feeling.

Light black with a moderate tan covering.
Nose is rostedmalt, toffee, light charr, faint germaline.
Taste comprises molasses, green pepper, very subtle chilli, dark toffee, light charr, pinch of spice.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close.
Ok, very little chilli kick, probably a good thing!

Cask at Cask. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of toffee, malt, fudge, milk chocolate, light coffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet. A light chilli burn coming out in the finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Cask, Pimlico. Poured a clear dark brown with a round bubbly white head. The aroma is roasted malt light yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a roasty, coffee, light chili spice palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden on 20th December 2014. Sepia black with thin pale tan laceless ring of foam. Richly roasty aroma with spices. Roasty in-mouth with citric touch and evident chilli which then dominates the finish albeit roundedly. Roasty mallts continue. Medium body, and an engaging texture.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Holborn. it pours deep red-brown with a decent light tan head. The nose is malt-driven, earth, toast, wood, cocoa and light peppery chilli. The taste is bitter upfront, then wood, pine, varnish, resin, cocoa, toast, chilli pepper kick, caramel and leather with a dry, light chilli linger. Medium body and fine carbonation. Really great balance here. The chilli adds something to the party without overtaking the base beer. Tasty.

Cask at The Haymarket. Dark brown pour, thin tan head. Aromas are vegetal and chocolate malt. Taste has a good heat which builds as you drink, but never too much. Liquorice and more chocolate stay in the background. Very nice.

Cask at jolly judge super charged version extra matured deep red brown in colour with strong chocolate roasted malt in the base with powerful chilie kick predominanting leaving a warm feeling in the mouth very pleasant if u like Chile

Cask at Blue Blazer . Dark brown, bubbly tan head, not much lacing. Nose of roasted malt, quite earthy dark malts, slight vegatal, some chilli heat. Taste of dark roasted malts with quite a lot of chocolate, some fruitiness in there, plenty of chiili - it isn’t subtle and it’s fairly hot, gets better the more you drink. Has a medium body, smooth and the finish has dark roast, chocolate with a chilli burn linger - hot but not too much. Seemed disjointed at first until I got used to the heat - liked the smooth dark chocolate underneath the chiili.
