On cask at Doctors Edinburgh a cloudy golden ale with light fruity aroma flavour is of mango pineapple and coconut generally a very sweet pale ale with hop burst which stops it being too sickly sweet very nice

Cask at Jake’s Place. Hazy golden body with a thick white head. Great lacing. Mild aroma of tropical fruit. The coconut is an interesting addition and is immediately noticeable before the usual fruity hops come in. Flavour of mango and pineapple. Not much malt character, but it doesn’t suffer for it. Medium body with an oily texture. Very soft carbonation prickle. Another hit from a constantly improving brewery.

[cask, Stockbridge Tap, Edinburgh] Pours a slightly hazy golden orange colour, good thick white head. Aroma is barley sugar, passion fruit and sweet, zesty orange. On the taste, sweet honeysuckle at first, more of that barley sugar, and then the coconut comes in, sweetly, on the finish. I’m not quite sure what to make of it - overall, it tastes like the outside crust of a coconut macaroon, the roastyness becomes a bitter earthyness that jars a little with the aftertaste. Either the coconut was over-toasted, or for a sweet, sticky IPA it doesn’t fit together perfectly. Still good, but not outstanding. Sorry Iain! [03062013]

Cask on tap at Holyrood 9A, Edinburgh (15 May 2013) - clear golden amber, thin creamy white head, sweet malty, fruity aroma, minimal lacing, fruity, coconut, sweet, creamy malty texture, smooth, excellent balance, very pleasing to drink

cask at 9a ... golden amber ... thin white head ... soft floral pine .. zezty orange .. light coco(chocolate) nose ... sweet floral fruits .... zezty orange ... juicy with a long soft dry fruit and coconut finish ... i think id like a little more coconut up front but nice and tasty
