Scopey (8817) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2014
Cask at Cloisters. It pours clear golden-amber with a small white head. The nose is soft, fruity, sweet, grainy, citrus peel and light toast. The taste is mildly bitter, grainy, lemon peel, toasted oats and biscuit with a dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and sticky mouth-feel. Pretty boring golden.

AshtonMcCobb (3764) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 14, 2014
On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - slight sulphur note then into malt and lemon. Taste - tangy lemon maybe even heading towards pineapple. Palate - light to medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - quite substantial and chewy for a golden ale.

Rune (9239) - Tromsø, NORWAY - AUG 25, 2013
Cask at Doric, half pint. Clear, amber-gold body, naked surface, poor lacing. Resin-like hops on the nose. Resin, grain and leaf to the taste buds. More sweet than bitter ending. Easy going and a bit thin bodied (pub crawl with Henry in central Edinburgh 09.08.2013).

BeerCast_Rich (1905) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 23, 2010
[cask at Cloisters, Edinburgh] Pours a slightly hazy golden colour, thick white head. Some good hop bitterness on the aroma, and also the flavour – quite unexpected given the low abv. Fruity hops on the palate, dry bitter finish. Really quite nice, certainly as good as Pentland IPA [16112010]

Cask @ Cloister’s, Edinburgh. Resin aroma, bright golden colour. Flavour resin biscuit and cereal. Smooth. An unusual and interesting golden ale.
