3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jamestulloch (477) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 14, 2013
Aroma: Clean, grassy aroma. Light citrus and biscuit notes.
Appearance: Clear golden body with a thin white head. Flat carbonation. Excellent lacing.
Taste: Biscuit, peach and muted citrus. Easy drinking but not particularly interesting.
Palate: Medium body with an oily texture. Flat carbonation.
Overall: I prefer this to the other Edinburgh-dominated ale, Deuchars. It tastes lighter (despite its higher ABV) fresher and crisper.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Beesbeer (349) - WALES - DEC 26, 2012
OMG!!!!! This is really, really nice. So full of flavour. It reminds me of Brewdog ales. It takes the depth of Stewart Hollyrood ale one step further along, and turns it up to absolutely full bodied. grapefruit, bubblegum, hops and fruity hops.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JorgeLee (721) - Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 13, 2012
On tap at the Bow Bar, Edinburgh. Deep golden colour, long lasting white head. Slightly unusual hop character, quite sweet,a little boozy and some slightly corny slightly syrupy fruit maybe pineapple in the finsh. A bit heavy, cloying, strong to be truly sessionable. Nice enough for a pint but not very exciting.

From the bottle. A touch hoppy, floral and sweet (honey). Pours golden with white head. Clean and grassy taste. I like it but it’s nothing special.
