Keg at the 2014 Edinburgh Marathon Festival. Hazy golden body with a white head. Faint carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of cereal, orange and lemon. Light, hoppy flavour with hints of earth and dried apricot. Dry finish. Thin body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. After running 13.1 miles, this was the refreshing pint I’d been dreaming of!

Cask at Edinburgh Marathon 2013. Light gold with a white head. Smell is incredibly hoppy. Lots of citrus. Also lends itself to the taste. A mix of heavy lemon, lime and grapefruit. Just what's needed after 26.2 miles...

[cask at the 2009 Scottish Real Ale Festival] Originally brewed to celebrate sponsorship of the half-marathon. Pours a nice clear nut brown in colour. Very drinkable malty session bitter in the – dare I say it – ‘Northern style’. Touch of sweetness coming through on the aftertaste. Another decent session beer from Stewart – really what they do best [28062009]

Cask-conditioned at the Market Porter, Southwark 09/06/09. Amber coloured with a moderate, off-white head. Caramel and red fruit aroma. Easy drinking with sweet maltiness and some earthy hops in the finish. A blessed relief after the chilli harshness of Oakleaf Grasshopper.
