[cask at the Dalriada, Edinburgh] Opaque beige-colour with a certain peachiness if held up to the light, Forth Mist doesn’t let much light through. Aromas of floral hop, yeast and a sharp bitterness from something. On the palate the start is fairly typical wheatbeer – citrus and lemon peel, touch of spice, but then the aftertaste comes through with that same bitter flavour. A beer of two halves – one good, one not so good. Maybe a dodgy pint, looking at other reviews here [17012010]

Cask conditioned handpump Market Porter Borough Market. A hazy orange coloured beer with whitish bits for a head. Wheaty notes throughout with lemony hops. Bit farty in the nose. Clean enough in the mouth but ultimately quite dull.

UPDATED: APR 21, 2010 Cask @ The Carron Works, Falkirk. This is a really good British wheat beer. Strong lemon citrus aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Strong bready biscuity flavour with lingering aftertaste. Look forward to meeting this one again. Found it again in Blackfriars. Perhaps not as good as initial impression hence score reduced a bit.
