Bottle. Deep golden, foamy white cap, no lace. The biscuity Maris Otter is lovely here, with just a kiss of citrus and a bit of tanginess in the finish. Tasty.

500ml bottle from the brewery. Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Grapefruit and tropical fruit aromas, some cereal malt. More on the taste - good bitterness, but not overwhelming. More grapefruit and cereal. Medium bodied and quite dry. Refreshing. Enjoyed this.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle from Sherbrooke. Golden copper pour with a bubbly white head that faded quickly. Very fragrant, hoppy with mild citrus in the aroma. Mouthfeel is creamy, medium carbonation, delicate bitterness in the finish - but not overpowering, very balanced. Delicious.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Almost clear golden yellow with a half inch of bubbles. Aroma is loaded with hops - lots of spruce, citrus, bit of tropical fruit. They carry through into the taste, but with more grain, moving from a floral, spicy opening through a sweeter (but by no means sweet) balanced middle to a noticeably bitter finish with a surprising level of biscuit. Very drinkable and balanced. A little chalky. Good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml brown bottle. Gold pour with light haze. White head which thins to a ring. Nose has a bit of toasted malt, nice citrusy-grapefruity hop notes. Taste has pretty clean malts up front with grapefruit notes. Some lingering grapefruity hops in the finish. Dry, light bodied, mild carbonation. A good easy drinking beer, nice hop notes, and refreshing.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle pours a slightly hazy golden amber color with a finger and a half of white head that retains well and leaves some very nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is light fruits with some hints of caramel. Taste is a fresh citrus bitterness with an underlying fruity and malty sweetness. Flavors are very well balanced and carbonation tickles the palate nicely. A very well done pale ale that I highly recommend.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask at Jake’s Place. It pours clear amber with medium white head. The nose is bready, grainy and lightly citric. The taste is lemon, lime, straw, sweet pale malt, dough and light bitterness with a crisp, dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit sweet really. So-so.
