Bottle from Tomlinson’s, Inverness. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is doughy, metallic, hay and toasted grass. The taste is crisp, bitter, lemony, grapefruit rind, grass and straw with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice pils by all accords.

Keg at the nascent brewery taproom. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Pale malt, cereal and lemon aromas. Clean light sweet taste. Decent bitter finish. Good pils.

Bottle from the brewery. Hazy pale yellow body with a thin white head. Light carbonation. Faint lacing marks. Aroma of grass, lemon and cornflakes. Crisp citrus flavour with grass and cereal notes. Thin body with an oily texture. Nice fizz. Quite hoppy for a Pilsner.

Pish pale yellow, firm faded white head - no visible carbonation. Freeze dried banana . Soft lemon. Lettuce juice. Odd light mustard maltiness. Decent enough carbonation, peppery aid to the watered down lemon finish. Odd stale banaoffee linger.

Bottle. Straw yellow and hazy with a generous white head. Great notes of caramel and that familiar grassy Saaz flavour. Lightly bitter finish. Well put together. A fine Bohemian Pilsner.
