Mini keg from Mr_H. Vegetable aroma. Amber brown colour, big foamy head. Definite pumpkin flavour quite smooth & well done but not my thing.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
auburn colour, very clear w/ no bubbles
nose is cloves and pumpkin but not strong in either one
med body and almost totally flat
maybe faint clove flavour along w/ a pumpkin flavour
a nice effort but i expected more. this is too much like a british ale and not enough like a pumpkin pie.

On tap @ the Southern Bar. This is the best Scottish effort at a pumpkin ale I’ve had to date. The base must be a Scotch Ale or an Amber. There’s a great malt backbone that is able to hold the intense spiciness (which as always is the foil for the pumpkin itself). Clove is the spice that comes through most on the finish.
