[cask at SRAF’12] Reddish brown beer with a decent bubble white head. Caramel and slightly resinous woody aroma. Caramel on the taste, with some red berry fruitiness. The finish goes a bit dry and slightly woody again – everything’s there, but maybe it needs a little more of each component [27062012]

Cask @ The Stockbridge Tap, Stewart Battle of the Brewers Round 3. Medium brown colour with a reddish amber hue & good head. Very mild fruity malt aroma. Resin oaty caramel malt flavour. Caramel aftertaste. More a premium bitter than an amber ale & a very average one at that.
