3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 BeerCast_Rich (1687) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 14, 2010
[cask at the Guildford Arms, Edinburgh] Has a bit of everything, this one. Pours like an amber ale but the first thing on the nose is citrus hop. Malt follows, and this leads the taste before the hops come in on the finish. Tastes very similar to several of their other beers – like Copper Cascade mixed with Pentland IPA. A decent bitter, and drinkable stuff – even for rugby-haters like me… [24022010]
