Cask at Carters. A dull golden ale - obviously aimed at the session drinker.

Pours translucent golden, no head to speak of, aroma not much, slight floral honey hints, taste is malty sweet with a surprisingly strong bitter finish. Decent aftertaste ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: Citrus and earthy aroma.

Appearance: Clear, golden body with a small white head that fades to nothing. No visible carbonation. Slight lacing.

Taste: Lemon and lime citrus with biscuity taste. Light bitterness.

Palate: Thin to medium body with a very oily texture. Flat carbonation.

Overall: Very drinkable and refreshing. A nice, hoppy, light British ale.

Cask at sraf. Golden with a short lived little white head. Bit of a pissy aroma, lemon zest, slight must. Taste is zesty, lemon, some caramel. Very thin and watery, completely flat. Not for me, possibly a good alternative to drinking water

Cask handpull at SRAF 2012. Pale yellow golden colour, thick white head. Soft hoppy nose, bit soapy, light lemon, touch of bready malt. Soft, juicy lemon and pine with a nice dry bready malt backbone. Nice refreshing bitter linger. Good.

Cask at the Cask And Barrel Broughton St. A golden session ale which take a while to settle. When it does, it looks very good. Well hopped and quite light. I feel that Stewart probably achieved exactly what they wanted to with this one. Very nice.

Cask @ Bridge Inn, Peebles
Golden amber, clear, frothy white head, reasonable lacing
Aroma - sweet golden malts...sweet grapefruit...sweet soft citrus fruits
Taste - soft fruits...citrus fruits...soft tropical fruit hops...sweet pale malts...background of soft bitterness...bit of canned sweet grapefruit...good balance between sweet/bitter...lots of flavour for 3.5%
Palate - soft carb, light body but not thin, soft bitter sweet palate. Finish - more bitterness, but light and tempered by the sweet malts, rapid finish.
Overall - Good, quaffable golden ale with plenty of flavour for the low abv

On cask at The Standing Order. Clear as a bell. Pours a golden colour with a fair white head. A citrusy aroma of lemon and grapefruit with caramel and yeast notes. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Nicely bitter and dry to finish. Very sessionable.

Cask @ The Doublet. Hazy pale yellow colour, good head. Mild biscuit malt aroma. Light refreshing citrus fruit & biscuit flavour. Lemon aftertaste. Not sure why this has been listed as a mild ale. It is definitely a light golden ale.
