Looks like a Guinness, but much smoother and not quite as bitter. Sensed the oyster so very little on the aroma and taste, but probably would not have if it wasn’t mentioned. Liked it.

On tap at brewery. Poured a dark black with a rich, foamy, tan head that retained well. Aroma of dark roasty malts, with some coffee, and pronounced oyster shell. Lots of roast in the taste, dark malts, coffee bitterness, balanced quite well with a subtle sweetness and an underlying brininess. Smooth, light to medium body with slightly prickly moderate carbonation.

On tap at GABF 2012. Pours a pure black color with a medium off-white head. A big nose of roast and coffee. The flavor is a light roast, dry earthy malts, coffee, some saltiness. Good.

On draft at Stewarts. Had a pint of this with my lunch today, dark as night pour with thin frothy head. Aroma of roast. This was dominated by the dark roast flavors with a little bit of acidic bitterness. Some salt was noticeable. Smooth and silky mouthfeel with a slightly dry finish. I liked this one and would drink it again.
