Goodgrief (1055), Middletown, Delaware, USA May 1, 2008 Beer was rusty orange, with smallish head and a bit of lacing. The aroma and flavor was predominantly grapefruit hops. A bit more hoppy than the regular IPA, but not something I’d trump up as "West Coast" style...the hops weren’t all that aggressive. It was tasty, but reminded me more of a standard pale ale than something really bold.
GMCC2181 (422), Bear, Delaware, USA Apr 20, 2008 Draft: A light amber color, one finger head. Aroma is very hoppy. Flavor has a nice bitterness to it. Medium/light texture. Over all a solid brew. I would get again, enjoyable. Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Nov 12, 2007 Draft pint shared with my wife at the brewpub. Hazy metallic orange with a sheen. Big mushy hoppy aroma that beckons met to dive in head first. But the flavor lacks the follow-on punch that I’d expected. Still a pleasantly balanced lightly hopped pale ale in the American tradition. (#3180, 11/8/2007)
